On reading this post, I had a laugh, albeit with a bit of that feeling you get that forces a roll on the ground laugh fit when someone runs down the beach flinging their clothes off due to a cloud of bees in pursuit and stinging:

Quite funny. As if a professor could stop someone from using one of the ubiquitous AI tools available. The real question might be, “How can students be helped to understand how learning and retention happen in people and how to best achieve that?”

Maybe a focus on that with some AI use to explore the limits might help. Or not.

Note: I experienced the cloud of bees chasing my mother flinging off her clothes with my father running after her to help as a 8 year old boy. I had never laughed so hard.

The next time was when a friend and I walked out of university class to his car…but it wasn’t there. He had been saying he would give me a ride to my car and built it up so that the shocked look his car was stolen had me laughing. Yes, yes these are not laughing matters but still, all sympathy forthcoming, I learned the meaning of laughter is the best medicine. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
